Welcome Drive-Subaru
This website is dedicated to my quest to drive the ultimate commercial Subaru, the 2006 WRX STi. Now if I ever get the chance to drive one I don't know how long it will stay stock, probably during the warrantee, but I'll document it all here.

PROS: versatile, good handling in all weather, unique body style always looks new
CONS: none so far , no longer in production
REVIEW: This is my second Subaru for our family, bought the Impreza Wagon last year, traded my Tundra for the Baja. | Forrester Reviews: Wouldn't think of buying another SUV in this class (5/5) - Sub Fanatic from |
PROS: Excellent engine - smooth, incredibly reliable, and amazing quick for it's size
CONS: Nada
REVIEW: For the price you simply can't beat this car. A Fantastic road car. The 13 hours trip from the Washington coast to Montana for a bit a fly finish is so smooth and confortable the miles melt away. You simply can't go wrong. We have put 120,000 on this car in 6 years with no mechanical ... Read full review

Forrester Reviews: NOT BAD; BUT HOW ABOUT A LITTLE POWER (3/5) - Joe from Scottsdale, AZ
PROS: Not too bad for the money but...
CONS: Weakest 173 horsepower I've every experienced. AWD is one thing but some power would be nice
REVIEW: Not a bad ride at all. Comfortable on long trips and I've never had a mechanical problem with it. However, wind noise evident above 75mph and just getting to that speed might be an issue. I can't belive this car was rated to have 173 horsepower. Sorry, no repeat customer here. ... Read full review

PROS: AWD, safety, able to fit 3 car seats in the back seat, plenty of room for gear, averaging 28mpg!

Forrester Reviews: Luxurious Hauler With Excellent Gas Mileage (5/5) - Fluter from Long Island, New
PROS: Beautiful, roomy, extremely comfortable ride
CONS: Paint Scratches Easily, Automatic Trans Sluggish with A/C On
REVIEW: This is our second Subaru Forester. It's a 2006 bi-color green metallic LL Bean edition, we've had it for about 6 months.
It is one sharp looking car! I sometimes come out to the parking lot and fine a gawker or two admiring it. The designers did a great job creating a functional ... Read full review

Legacy Reviews: The car for the discerning... (4/5) - subiefan from PA
PROS: AWD, acceleration
CONS: interior build quality, turbo lag, no satellite radio, fuel economy
REVIEW: I have been driving this car for few months now. It has been a blast to drive. I travel nearly 100 miles a day and I actually look forward to the commute. The acceleration is just awesome( I have a stick shift) and needs tremendous self control to keep the driving license from getting suspended. ... Read full review

Legacy Reviews: sleek, safe, and reliable (5/5) - Dan fisher from Canandaigua, NY
PROS: very responsive, incredible handling, AWD is superior to others I've owned
CONS: ride could be smoother
REVIEW: I've been driving the 2.5 GT wagon for nearly two years now. It's never let me down and has only been at the dealership for routine recommended maintenance and oil changes. I live near a ski resort and it always gets me to the slopes regardless of the amount of snowfall, and that's with ... Read full review

Legacy Reviews: They just keep getting better (5/5) - Bob Moon from Vancouver, WA
PROS: Better fuel mileage than my 2003
CONS: There is a bit too much body roll when cornering hard but I think a larger rear sway bar and bushing
REVIEW: This is my 6th Legacy sedan and I wouldn't even consider anything else. I drove a rental Camry twice, once when my 97 was in the shop and again later on vacation and I think they are junque. My girlfriend had a Honda Accord that we took on 2 trips and they are noisy and they handle for s%. ... Read full review

Legacy Reviews: definately a great car. (4/5) - len from MI
PROS: FAST; sharp looking; comfort; fun to drive; nice options
CONS: fuel econ; needs premium; stock stereo weak; auto climate control...
REVIEW: when paired with the 5 speed, this turbo hauls. all 4 wheels grip, so no burning rubber off the line. i frequently feel it should have 6 speeds, but that's when i've climbed through all the gears on the on ramp and want one more, only to realize i'm doing 80+ and havn't hit the ...
